It is the mission of the Human Resources department to provide the following quality services to all departments of St Clair County and to all employees and applicants of the County, by:
• recruitment of diverse, well-qualified individuals.
• retention of valuable employees.
• training and development to promote individual success and increase overall value to the County and its citizens.
• providing and promoting a safe and healthy working environment.
• providing resources for administering benefits, policies, risk management and procedures.
• promoting harmonious relations between organized labor and management.
These services will be provided from our staff in the Human Resources department through the ability to work as a strong and organized team to build strong, effective, and long-lasting relationships with the leaders and the employees of St Clair County.
