Road Closures & Announcements

On May 20th, the County Highway Department will be closing Triple Lakes Road between the flood walls for road repairs. The road will reopen at the end of the work day and will close again on May 22nd while crews return to work.

This will be weather dependent.

We appreciate your patience as you find other routes.
 


 

Maple Street in Shiloh will be shut down Monday 5-18-2026. 
The contractor proposes the closure from approximately 1500 feet west of Route 158  (Air Mobility Drive) and easterly to 158 (Air Mobility Drive).
The estimated time of the closure is about 12 weeks.  Please keep in mind our jobs are all weather dependent.

Advanced signage will be Road Closed Ahead signs at the Main Street and the Route 158  (Air Mobility Drive) intersections.

Plum Hill School Rd will be closed beginning May 4, 2026 to approximately August 15, 2026.
C-HILL Civil Contractors will be replacing the bridge located 1800’ south of IL Route 158/177.
There will be a marked detour to get around the closure.
 


Black Lane at the CSX Railroad crossing in the Caseyville/Fairmont City area is proposed to be closed this  Saturday (4-18-26) for CSX to perform work at the crossing.


Frank Scott Parkway East Extension begins January 27, 2025.

St Clair County has awarded a contract to DMS Contracting in Mascoutah, IL.

A brand-new roadway will be constructed, beginning at Cross Street, continuing around Shiloh and ending at Maple Street and Route 158.

Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zones,

obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices

and be alert for workers and equipment.
