The Zoning Board of Appeals established in accordance with the Illinois law. The Zoning Board of Appeals shall have all the power and duties prescribed by law and as defined by the Zoning Code. (See 55 ILCS, Sec 5/5-12001)

The Zoning Board of Appeals shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the County Board Chairman with advice and consent of the County Board.
