Utility Work beginning May 5 along School View Dr. and Marissa North Rd.
Ameren Illinois is boring a new gas main and building a new valve assembly.
The work is near the east side of Marissa High School.
Please be observant of construction personnel and equipment.
The project should be completed by July 1, 2025
Freedom Drive, from IL-13 (S. Belt West) to the North side of the Railroad Tracks,
will be CLOSED
Monday April 28th at 7:00 a.m. for road construction.
The roadway is scheduled to reopen May 30th, 2025 at 3:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect delays and allow extra time for trips through this area.
Please avoid the work area, when feasible, by the use of alternate routes.
Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zones,
obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert to workers and equipment.
Contractor is responsible for informing residents,
businesses and/or affected parties of road closure by reasonable means.
Road Closure
HWP Rigging (on behalf of Ameren IL) will be moving an oversize/overweight transformer from Ameren’s Metro East Training Center to Ameren’s Turkey Hill Substation on 4/16/25 weather permitting. The load will travel via IL-13 to S Green Mount Rd, then down Green Mount Road to Old Freeburg Road, then north on Old Freeburg Rd. The move will commence at approximately 9AM on 4/16 and is expected to conclude by 3PM. Old Freeburg Rd from S Green Mount Rd. to Turkey Hill substation will be closed to traffic during this time.

ROAD CLOSURE: BALDWIN ROAD; 1 MILE SOUTH OF ROUTE 13.

St Clair County Department of Roads and Bridges has awarded a contract to Baxmeyer Construction for a Box Culvert Replacement on Baldwin Road.
The closure is located 1 mile South of Route 13 and just North of Golden Rule Mine Road.
The Road will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC.
A detour route is provided, please follow signs.
Frank Scott Parkway East Extension begins January 27, 2025.
St Clair County has awarded a contract to DMS Contracting in Mascoutah, IL.
A brand-new roadway will be constructed, beginning at Cross Street, continuing around Shiloh and ending at Maple Street and Route 158.
