Current Eligibility

A safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine is a critical component of the U.S. strategy to reduce COVID-19-related illnesses, hospitalizations, and deaths.

Vaccines are now widely available. In most cases, you do need an appointment. 

All currently authorized and recommended COVID-19 vaccines:

  • Are SAFE
  • Are EFFECTIVE, and
  • REDUCE YOUR RISK of severe illness.

There is no co-pay for individuals with insurance and no charge for the uninsured.

Appointment Registration

COVID-19 vaccination for clients 6 months and older (ages 6 months – 17 years must be accompanied by parent or guardian)

St. Clair County Health Department is currently offering Pfizer and Moderna Monovalent COVID-19 vaccines, and Novavax COVID-19 vaccine for primary series vaccination.
We are also offering Pfizer (age 12 years and older) and Moderna (age 18 years and older) Bivalent COVID-19 vaccine for boosters. There is also still a Pfizer booster available for ages 5 -11 years of age.
Janssen (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine is no longer available at our site.

Medical staff will review your eligibility for COVID vaccination at your appointment, and you will also choose which brand of COVID vaccine you want to receive at the appointment. If it is determined that you are not currently eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccine at the time of your appointment, vaccine will not be administered. Please verify your eligibility, for either your primary series or a booster, at the links above prior to scheduling your appointment.
