TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 12, 2018 The meeting of the Transportation Committee of the St. Clair County Board was called to order by Chairperson Vernier at 5:35 p.m. on Monday March 12, 2018 with the Pledge of Allegiance. Chairperson Vernier presented the minutes from theJanuary 16, 2018 regular Transportation Committee Meeting. Motion made by Mr. Crawford, seconded by Mr. Trentmanto approve the minutes as presented. All members present voted aye. Chairperson Vernier asked if there were any comments on the Agenda. None were presented. Chairperson Vernier reminded the members that the meeting format will follow the Roberts Rules of Order. Motion made by Ms. Chartrand, seconded by Mr. Allen to approve Resolution (A). All members present voted aye. Motion made by Mr. Crawford, seconded by Mr. Mosley to pass Resolution (B). All members present voted aye. Motion made by Ms. Chartrand, seconded by Mr. Allen to pass Resolution (C). All members present voted aye. Motion made by Mr. Mosley, seconded by Ms. Chartrand to pass Resolution (D). The Resolutions were as follows: Resolution A- Permission for Spectrum to install cable along and across Hartman Lane; C.H. 16 Maintenance R-17-1 via Permit 2663 Resolution B-Award of bituminous material to JTC Section 18-00000-00-GM ResolutionC-Permission for Verizon/MCI to install fiber optic along Triple Lakes Road C.H.39 Maintenance P53-1 via Permit 2665 Resolution D- City of Fairview Heights to install a sanitary force main along Bunkum Road C.H. 34 Maintenance H56-2 via Permit 2664 Resolution E- Preliminary Engineering Agreement with Burns and McDonnell for application preparation for Illinois Competitive Freight Program section 17-00129-04-PV. A general discussion followed about vehicle and equipment marking and replacement. By verbal consensus all red trucks and equipment are to be marked.
