Public Comment Regarding the Agenda: Mr. Sharkey asked if anyone present had a question or comment regarding the agenda. There were none . Approval of the November 19, 2015 Committee minutes (action required): Mr . Sharkey called for action on the November 19, 2015 Committee minutes. Mr. Dinges made the motion to approve the November 19, 2015 minutes which was seconded by Mr. Allen. The motion passed unanimously. New Business (Director's Report, information onlv): Mr. Sharkey asked the Director to give his report. Mr. Beach gave his monthly update regarding several new leads/prospects . He also informed the Committee that the Department collected enterprise zone fees of $80,975.88 in 2015 . He stated that he had recently collected the first enterprise zone fee of 2016 in the amount $34,973.00, which was for Phase 2 of the Rec Plex Project in O'Fallon . He informed the Committee that two new Enterprise Zones were approved in the County: a joint Enterprise Zone including all or parts of Brooklyn, Fairmont City, and Caseyville and a new Enterprise Zone for Fairview Heights. He added that these two new Zones along with the three existing Zones for Belleville, the American Bottoms Enterprise Zone (Sauget, Cahokia, Dupo), and the St. Clair County MidAmerica Enterprise Zone (parts of O'Fallon, Shiloh, Lebanon, Mascoutah, and the Airport) bring the total number of state certified Enterpr i se 1 = Page 1 = Zores in the County to five. These five Zones cover territory n twelve communities in addition to some i unincorporated areas. He also discussed the meetings he and staff attended (or coordinated) since the last Committee meeting: various NGA site meetings and discussions; additional annual TIF Board meetings throughout the County; he spoke to the Fairview Heights Rotary Club regarding NGA; and attended a Belle-Scott Committee meeting that toured the new Memorial Hospital-East. New Business (Airport Director's report, information onfv): Tim Cantwell was travelling on airport business. County Board Chairman Mark Kern gave an update on recent airport activities and discussed that Allegiant was already adding a hird flight to the Destin/Ft. Walton t Beach destinaton. There was a ge eral discussion regarding the joint i n use nature of the Airport with our Scott AFB partner. He also gave an NGA update. Chairman Kern also informed the Committee of the recent visit and tour we coordinated for Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth. Old Business There was no Old Business .
