Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association,  provides information on caregiving, family planning, educational and care resources. Calvin Johnson Care Center is located at 727 North 17th St. in Belleville. The 24-hour care facility offers an in-house dialysis unit, ventilator, Medicare unit, skilled therapies, intermediate care, activity programs, social rehab programs, dietary services and 24-hour nursing services. Home Instead offers nonmedical companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, incidental transportation, medication reminders, bathing and dressing assistance. Programs and Services for Older Persons is located at 201 North Church St. in Belleville. PSOP offers assistance to elderly persons for medical, financial, nutritional services, a RSVP program that places seniors in volunteer positions in the  community; provides transportation for jobs, errands, health services and other purposes; noon meals; recreation, education, counseling and social services. Senior Aides Program provides part-time employment. Senior Companions provide socialization to frail, ill seniors in their homes, respite for caregivers as well as a small stipend for the companion. The Travel Club provides social interaction by providing day trips, extended trips and monthly dinner meetings. The Foster Grandparent Program places seniors with special needs children in schools and daycare centers. The Agency provides state and federal funds to profit and nonprofit organizations for direct services for persons who are 60 years of age and older.
