You may pay your real estate taxes by mail, at the St. Clair County Treasurer's Office or at many financial institutions (complete list below) throughout the county. You can pay your taxes by cash, check money order or cashiers check.
Credit Card and electronic check payments may be made on-line or by telephone 1-877-455-3729. A convenience charge will be applied.
The telephone system accepts Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
The online system accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Monthly Installments
The Treasurer's Office has initiated a monthly payment plan, consisting of 10 monthly payments, which all begin in September. You may pay into an account on next year's taxes.
When bills are mailed you will receive credit for pre-payments and balances due will be shown on the payment stubs.
Submit a Monthly Installment Tax Registration Form to register.
Monthly Installments may be automatically withdrawn from your bank account.
Submit an Automated Tax Payment Form to register for this program.
